Gräsplan is a San Francisco-based hair salon that combines 30+ years of experience and artful creativity with services and products that are considerably less toxic, more eco-friendly and health conscious for the stylists, clients and the environment.

We recycle, reuse and compost - your hair is compostable, my friends! We strive to be a sustainable business. Organizations we belong to, utilize and are recognized by include:

We mindfully designed our salon

We chose refurbished and second hand salon equipment and other accents that were found locally. (Thank you, Craigslist). Other things needed for the salon were chosen carefully with green in mind. The paint on the walls is non-toxic, non-off gassing and voc-free.

We give back!!

We donate 2% of the profits from our services and 10% of the profits from any retail sales to local and global non-profits or organizations that are doing things that make a difference.
